External Evaluation 2004-2005, Dr. Ronald B. Nelson

SCC's Avenue to Success Title III program engaged the services of Educational Metrics, Inc., under the direction of Dr. Ronald B. Nelson, as an External Evaluator for Year One (2003-2004) and Year Two (2004-2005) of the program. Dr. Nelson was Director of four Title III grant projects at Valencia Community College from 1987-1999. Prior to his retirement in July 2004, Dr. Nelson served as Director of Institutional Research at Valencia Community College, 1992-2004.

A seasoned Title III External Evaluator, Dr. Nelson is intimately involved with other Title III grant projects in at least three states, including Florida, Kentucky and Massachusetts.

Dr. Nelson received both his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Master of Arts degree in English Education from Florida State University and his Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova University.
