The Language Institute

The Language Institute is a complete, non-credit, English language training program. It is designed for students whose native language is not English. Our Institute offers:

• English classes for international students.
• A modern computer lab with special ESOL software (adults only).
• Qualified instructors specializing in ESOL.
• A friendly, academic atmosphere.

To enroll in the Language Institute, you must take the LOEP exam.

SCC's Assessment and Testing Center administers a variety of tests, including state mandated entry and exit exams, specialty exams to earn college credits and professional certification and licensing tests.
