Sanford/Lake Mary Campus

Campus Transformation Under Way

To keep up with the growing needs of Seminole County, SCC is transforming its first and largest Campus with an $85 million construction and renovation campaign. The College is committed to providing students, employees and community members with up-to-date information on its projects.

Construction Affects Traffic, Parking on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus

Traffic: Due to construction on SCC's Sanford/Lake Mary Campus, Weldon Boulevard is closed to through traffic. Please review this page regularly for up-to-date detour information and follow the signs on campus.

Parking: A printable map outlines all campus parking, including three new temporary grass parking lots.

The visitor, faculty and staff lot next to A building closed permanently this summer for construction on the SCC-UCF University Partnership Center. Further, the lots around K and I buildings (Lots 6 and 7) are temporarily unavailable due to construction. To regain the parking spots lost to construction, SCC has added more than 450 temporary spaces for students, faculty and staff.

The lighted grassy parking lots are:
  • Adjacent to the CFADA Professional Automotive Training Center, next to Lot 12.
  • East of the Health Building (building H), accessible from Parking Lot B.
  • North of the Health Building (building H) and near the tennis courts, accessible from Campus Lane.
In addition, faculty, staff and visitor parking has been reassigned to Lot 3, south of A building.

Temporary parking signs are located across the Campus to help you locate the new lots. Also, SCC employees will be available to direct students and employees to parking during the first week of classes.
