Dates and Fees

The registration process will begin in March 2008.

Institute Dates

The AP Institutes will be held at SCC August 4 - 8, 2008, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Science Building (building S).

Registration Fee

A non-refundable deposit of $50 must be sent with your registration form by June 13, 2008, to guarantee an available position. The remainder of the $450 registration fee is due on the first day of the workshop, Monday, August 4, 2008.

The total registration fee for the AP Institute is $500.

If your school will be issuing a purchase order to pay for the registration fee and deposit, please send the deposit in the form of a personal check and mark the appropriate "method of payment" on the registration form. The check will be held until the purchase order has been received. The personal check will then be voided and returned to the sender. Credit card payments will not be accepted.

All Florida public school teachers are eligible for a Florida Partnership Scholarship. The scholarship will not be awarded until the Registration Form and the $50 non-refundable deposit has been received.

If you are requesting a Florida Partnership Scholarship, a letter will be sent to you explaining the conditions of this scholarship once we have received your Registration Form and $50 non-refundable deposit.

Florida Participants

In-state participants will receive three college credits at no additional cost. These are undergraduate hours in CHM, PHY, or BSC.

Out-Of-State Participants

Out-of state participants will receive 45 hours of CEU credits, if desired. Participants can receive three college credits by paying an additional $600.
