Sigma Phi Gamma

Sigma Phi Gamma is a club on campus that provides students with a place to make new friends, participate in rewarding community service events and to make their college experience more rewarding.

How did we get started?

In 1998, a group of students, just like you, decided that they wanted to make an organization that planned social events and brought students of all backgrounds together to have fun. Sigma Phi Gamma has evolved into a club consisting of members that want to help the community and have fun in a laid-back atmosphere.

Our Accomplishments

Sigma Phi Gamma has done many community service events to date including:

• Volunteering at animal shelters
• Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon
• Chambrel Nursing Home
• ARA - AIDS Resource Alliance
• Relay for Life - American Cancer Society
• Habitat for Humanity

We also have a lot of fun together outside of school. Once a month we have what we call "SPG Love Night" This is a night where we all get out together and just have a great time. These nights out have been spent doing the following:

• Movie nights
• Bowling
• Wet n' Wild
• Go-Karting
• Beach Trips
• And much more...

Why should you join, you ask?

Most people enter a community college thinking that they will not get a genuine University experience out of their time spent there. Seminole Community College allows us a place to prove that theory wrong. With Sigma Phi Gamma, students are able to feel comfortable about themselves in a group of accepting friends who like to enjoy themselves and the community around them. Sigma Phi Gamma invites you to come and see if this is the place for you. Come to a meeting, participate in an activity or just come and have a good time with us at Sigma Phi Gamma.
