"Create an Advantage for Yourself"

The mission of Seminole State College's Student Activities Program is to provide a learning-centered environment that complements its academic programs. Student Activities enhances the overall educational experience of students through the development of, exposure to and participation in campus activities, Leadership Institutes, student government, clubs and organizations, and community service programs.

The Office of Student Activities promises to:

  • Organize a comprehensive activities schedule for all students, as well as faculty and staff members, to enjoy.
  • Promote learning and personal growth in students by encouraging specific student leadership development outcomes.
  • Prepare students for leadership roles and responsibilities by sponsoring exemplary leadership training, education and development activities. These may include Leadership Institutes, Advanced Leadership Retreats, Club Development Workshops and Student Leadership Mentoring.
  • Support and promote student involvement in campus governance through participation in the Student Government Association.
  • Encourage student involvement in community service through participation in the SCCVolunteers Program.
  • Assist students in gaining varied leadership experiences at Seminole State and beyond.
