Transition Track for CRTs

The SCC Respiratory Care Program offers a unique opportunity for graduates of AMA-accredited Respiratory Technician Programs. All certified respiratory therapists are awarded 33 credits in respiratory care coursework for:

• RET 1025C Principles of Respiratory Care;
• RET 1264C Principles of Mechanical Ventilation;
• RET 1275C Clinical Care Techniques;
• RET 1295C Chest Medicine;
• RET 1450C Basic Physiologic Monitoring;
• RET 1485C Cardiopulmonary Physiology;
• RET 1874L Clinical Practice I; and
• RET 1875L Clinical Practice II.

Students must have earned their CRT Credential within the last five years at time of admission into the program.
