External Agency Payment of Student Fees - Procedure 5.0400

Purpose:
To describe the mechanism for the deferment of student fees to
be paid by an external agency.
Procedure:
- Corporate accounts may be established to allow deferment of
student fees.
- A written authorization on corporate stationary signed by an
official authorized to obligate the corporation must be provided,
and must specify the extent and/or limitations of the
obligation.
- Governmental agencies that are sponsoring students for fee
payment, must provide the College with a signed authorization.
Purchase orders of the agency are accepted.
- Letters of authorization or purchase orders must provide
clear billing information.
- Completed college admissions paperwork for each student must
accompany purchase orders or letters of authorization.
- Any award restrictions or limitations must be clearly
stated.
- Fee deferments are limited to sixty days unless extended as
permitted by FAC.
