Nursing Scholarship Program, Central/North Health Plan

It is estimated that students graduating from high school in the 2000's are 30io to 40io less likely to become Registered Nurses compared to those graduating in the 1970s. The number of newly licensed RNs in the State of Florida is down 50io from 1994. The Florida Department of Labor and Employment Security predicts the demand for RNs will grow 29.3io in the next decade. The implications are staggering. UnitedHealthcare recognizes the importance of nurses to the health and well being of the Central Florida community.
