Central Florida Regional Hospital Nursing Scholarship

The Central Florida Regional Hospital Nursing Scholarship was established to assist nursing students with educational expenses and help meet the critical need for registered nurses in the local community.

Eligibility:

• Students currently enrolled in A.S. Degree Nursing Program
• Full time first and second year nursing students may apply

Amount:

$2,500

Application Process:

• Submit a letter addressed to the Scholarship Committee of the Associate Degree Nursing Program, which addresses your interest in the scholarship, goals, financial need, and grade point average.
• Two letters of reference.
• Current copy of transcript.

Criteria for Selection:

• Clinical competency and academic performance
• Professionalism
• Willingness to sign agreement to work at CFR Hospital for 1 year upon graduation
• 2.5 GPA
• Telephone interview to be arranged by hospital representative

Application Deadline:

May apply at any time
Place applications in Judy Laney's folder in the student area of the Nursing Office.
