Web-Enhanced Courses

The 9 nursing courses required for an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing all utilize the Internet to various degree. Two courses are web-enhanced:

• NUR 1213C- Nursing Process Clinical Applications
• NUR 1030C - Introduction to the Nursing Process for the Certified Paramedic

This means that all the theory is delivered via web using the course management tool ANGEL. Students continue to meet face to face in the clinical setting and occasionally for exam and laboratory skills practice.

The remaining seven courses utilize ANGEL tools to enhance classroom experience. The courses are:

• NUR 2004C - Nursing Process Transition
• NUR 1020C - Nursing Process Fundamentals
• NUR 1730C - Nursing Process Adults and Children I
• NUR 2732C - Nursing Process Adults and Children II
• NUR 2423C - Nursing Process for Maternal/Newborn
• NUR 2520C - Nursing Process for Mental Health
• NUR 2943C - Nursing Process Practicum

In these seven courses students still meet face to face in the classroom, skills lab and clinical setting.
