The NCLEX-RN® Exam

The NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses) is developed and controlled by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. This nationally recognized exam:

  • Is a State of Florida requirement for earning a nursing A.S. degree
  • Measures your nursing knowledge and competencies
  • Determines eligibility to earn an RN license and begin working as an RN

  • Promotes safe and effective nursing practices
  • Develops nursing licensing examinations
  • Controls nursing exam administration and scores
What is the exam content?

The NCLEX-RN continually evolves to ensure its content is:
