Information Sessions

Information Sessions

You must attend an information session before you can apply to one of SCC's nursing programs. Information sessions:

  • Introduce the programs, the application process, and the selection criteria
  • Are approximately two hours
  • Allow you to ask questions and participate in informational discussions
  • Provide the application and the procedures for entering the program of your choice

The application you receive at the information session is an application for the nursing program only. It is not an application to Seminole Community College. You must apply and be accepted to SCC before you can apply to the nursing program.

Note: When you are accepted as an SCC student, that does not mean you have been accepted into the nursing program. The nursing program has its own application procedures and admission requirements. Refer to each degree program's specific admission requirements for more information.

All sessions run approximately 1.5 hours, begin promptly at the time listed, and require no appointment. Your attendance (you must sign in) at the information session is good for one year. After one year, you must attend another session to receive an application.

Due to the vital nature of the information being given, we request that late comers forgo interrupting the session and plan to attend the next one.
