Practical Nursing

The Practical Nursing Certificate Program at SCC

 
Practical Nurses
  • It is a comprehensive, 12-month limited access program.

  • It provides classroom and clinical experiences in all areas of nursing.

  • It teaches the specialized skills you need to become a successful nurse.

  • Once you have met the program requirements, you are eligible to apply to the Florida State Board of Nursing to sit for the licensing exam for Practical Nursing (LPN).



Entry Date:

Spring (Term II) beginning in January

Hours:
Full-time day program conducted Mon.- Fri.; varying hours from 8:30 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Some weekend hours during Practicum.
