Nursing Assistant/HHA

The Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide Program

Medical Assistants The NA / HHA Program at SCC is a 12-week vocational credit program that includes 165 hours of theory and clinical instruction. It is designed to provide classroom, nursing laboratory, and clinical experience for selected tasks related to personal hygiene, comfort and safety measures for residents in long-term facilities. Once you have met the program requirements, you are eligible to sit for the State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) exam.

What is the Home Health Aide Course?

The HHA course is a 50-hour supplement course that follows the NA program. Students are strongly encouraged to complete these additional credit hours in order to increase employment options.
