Heather Edwards received both her B.S. in Mathematics and M.Ed in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Florida and proceeded to become a high school mathematics teacher. After two years of teaching high school, she chose to further her mathematics background receiving an M.S. in Mathematical Sciences and a Ph.D. in Mathematics. While a graduate student in mathematics, she taught on a part-time basis at SCC, Valencia, and UCF. With her graduate studies behind her, Dr. Edwards is very happy to now be here at SCC as a full-time professor.
