Academic Computing and Technology Support

Computing and Telecommunication Services (CTS) Department operates an open computer lab which is located in the Library. 'Use Guidelines' for the CTS open lab differ from those of the library.

There are 56 computers with networked printing capability in the CTS Lab. They are equipped with software in support of college programs. A lab assistant is in the lab during hours of operation to help with questions about assignments or use of equipment.

The 24 computers located in the reference department of the library are intended for Internet research, LINCC and database access, or essential curriculum related communication with instructors. They are not intended to be use for recreational purposes, chat, games or personal email.

Library staff is available to assist students with instruction in Web-based research and database or online catalog access. They will also assist with login/password and pin number questions.
