Locate LINCCWeb Electronic Resources
Choose databases you wish to search:
Academic Search Premier (EBSCO)

Sociology Periodicals Full Text
Locate LINCC Electronic Resources
1. On the Research Quick Start page, at “Locate Periodical Articles in Online Databases,” locate and click LINCCWeb Online Databases.
2. At Borrower ID, type the Borrower ID number located on your SCC Library ID card.
3. AtPIN, type your Personal Identification Number. Your default PIN is the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.
4. Click the “Log on” button.
5. Choose databases you wish to search.

Academic Search Premier (EBSCO)
1. At the Alphabetical Database List, locate and click Academic Search Premier
2. Click Connect to Database button.
Note: This opens another browser window.
3. Click continue button.
4. At Find: type: your subject
5. In "Search Options," locate Publicationand type the title of the journal you wish to search.
6. Choose from these acceptable journals that are Full Text in Academic Search Premier:

- British Journal of Sociology

7. Click search button 8. Click HTML Full Text or PDF Full Text to display articles that are full text in the database.
9. Click the article title to view the detailed record.

1. At the Alphabetical Database List, locate and click Social Sciences Full Text
2. Click "Connect to Database."

3. In the box at Search for: type your subject.
5. In the box after "and", type the title of a periodical from the list.

Results
1. Click "page icon" for any full text articles of interest.
2. Click the article title to view the detailed record.
3. At this point, you could print or e-mail the article by clicking the appropriate button and following
instructions.

2. To return to LINCCWeb, click the "x" in the upper right corner to close the new window.
