Mission/Vision Statements

Our Mission

It is the mission of the Seminole Community College Legal Studies Program to provide to our students only the highest quality undergraduate legal studies instruction and to enable and empower our students to successfully attain their goals, whether those goals are to become a self-sustaining, highly competent and successful professional paralegal, or to prepare themselves to achieve higher levels of legal education while maintaining the ability to support themselves.

To help ensure their success and continued professional development, it is also our mission to provide post-graduate support for our students by assisting them with placement and continuing education, as well as providing mentoring and networking opportunities and resources.

Our Vision

It is our vision to be the preeminent undergraduate Legal Studies Program in the state, to graduate the finest and best trained entry-level paralegals in Florida and to be nationally recognized for the quality of our curriculum, faculty and innovative methods of instruction.
