Performance Appraisals for Non-instructional StaffSeminole Community College is committed to being a great place to work. To that end, the College has determined that it is time to review and redesign the performance appraisal system for non-instructional employees, and to make the transition to a more performance-based method of compensation. A task group has been formed to work on this project. Specific tasks and desired outcomes include:
Task Group MembersTask group members were selected for their particular area of expertise (such as compensation, performance measures, statistics, psychology or research skills); their familiarity with the current appraisal instrument; their demonstrated expertise in providing feedback to employees; and/or their position at SCC. Group members are:
Project Work Plan and TimelineAccording to the project work plan, the task group will complete its work by the end of July 2007. The plan allows enough time for final instrument preparation, possible migration to a Web-based format and employee training. The tentative timeline for the project and implementation is:
