The Employee Assistance Program, provided by Horizon Health, is available to help regular full-time and regular part-time employees and their household members resolve personal and work problems. The College recognizes that at times employees and their household members need assistance in resolving personal problems, as these problems can interfere with personal well-being and work performance. In order to help employees, the College provides this Employee Assistance Program. Through this program, employees are provided with experienced, professional counselors who help with virtually all types of personal problems, such as:
- financial
- alcohol/drug abuse (see Drug-Free Workplace below)
- psychological
- job burnout
- stress
- child concerns
- marital issues
- adult dependent care
This service is totally confidential. The College does not acquire knowledge of who uses this service.
This service is available 24 hours a day.
A professional counselor conducts an initial assessment and will discuss recommendations with the caller. This service does not have a specific number of sessions included. The actual number of sessions is driven by the treatment plan.

Drug-Free Workplace
