Mission

The mission of the Seminole Community College Human Resources Department is to serve the College and its constituents by providing exemplary employees who foster a caring and professional relationship with students and the community. The Human Resources Department will contribute to SCC's mission and operations by supporting faculty, administrators and staff in their commitment to cultivate successful students and further the mission of the College. The human resources staff will be knowledgeable, skilled, competent and demonstrate a caring approach to employees and their work while fulfilling their responsibilities.

Vision

SCC's Human Resources Department will provide strategic human resources leadership and provide creative, innovative, equitable and rewarding programs that are designed to attract, develop, support and retain exemplary employees. The department's policies, procedures, programs and practices will be aligned with the College's goals, objectives and strategies. The Human Resources Department will lead efforts that contribute to the mutual satisfaction and benefit of each SCC employee and the institution.
