Honors Scholarships
Honors scholarships are disbursed on a semester-by-semester basis and are awarded solely upon merit. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.2 for scholarship renewal. Scholarships may be granted to those receiving other financial aid, and generally cover a percentage of tuition costs or book costs. The Honors Program strongly encourages all students to search the Internet, review national, regional and state Honors Collegiate Council scholarships, check with employers and businesses about their benefits and talk to Honors Coordinator for other scholarships.
Besides honors scholarships offered through the Grindle Honors Institute, other scholarships are available through the SCC Foundation. Among them are:
Degree Seeking Scholarships

Graduate of a Specific School or Program
- Selma Caisse GED Scholarship. Amount: $500 per year for two years. Student information must be in by April 1. For more information contact GED Department.
- Herman and Nana Klein Scholarship. Amount: $1,600 per year for two years. For more information contact the SCC Adult High School.

- Rotary Club of Winter Springs Scholarship. Amount: $1,000. For more information contact Oviedo High School or Winter Springs High School Guidance Department.
