The Web Team

The Web team has been created to ensure quality and usability of all campus Web properties. Our campus Web site is not just a source for information. It is also a valuable marketing tool reaching millions of people each year. As such, it is our job to ensure that the College is presented in the best possible light.

The SCC Web site is created and maintained by the WebSupport staff at SCC, who are responsible for ensuring its quality and usability. In addition, the College Relations and Marketing Department (CRM), Computing and Telecommunications Services Department (CTS) and Student Success Services all work cooperatively to promote a unified and user-friendly Internet presence. As a result of this team effort, we have established a design checklist, as well as a set of design standards to insure that our goal will be achieved.

SCC Web team

The SCC Web team has been established as the core Web site project team and includes the following representatives:

Executive Oversight

• Dick Hamann, Vice President, Information Technology and Chief Information Officer – Oversees the CTS side of the Web site. He is assisted by Pilar Acosta (Director, Enterprise Systems).
• Michael Garlich, Associate Vice President, College Relations and Marketing – Oversees the CRM side of the Web site.
• James Henningsen, Vice President, Student Success Services - Oversees the Web site from the student success perspective. He is assisted by Pamela Mennechey (Student Recruitment and Admissions).

Core Team Members

• Les Lusk, Web Development Coordinator – Oversees the development and creation of the Web site and related Web applications. He is assisted by Anna Flores (Web Application Programmer) and Tim Ward (Web Application Programmer)
• Susanne Huber, Marketing Production Manager – Oversees the visual and design aspects of the Web site in conjunction with Thao Ngo (Graphic Designer - Multimedia).
• Jay Davis, Communications Manager – Oversees the content of the Web site to ensure quality and consistency in conjunction with Angelo Biondini (Web Content Specialist).

Technical Support

• Julio Valentin, Director, Network and Server Infrastructure – Oversees the hardware and network access required to maintain the Web site.
