Web Author Notification Procedures

Seminole Community College is committed to providing an Internet presence that is easily accessible by all and which presents a cohesive and visually appealing college image. To that end, we will be periodically reviewing the design and load times of all documents on the college Web site and the ANGEL server. Pages that are not consistent with SCC standards for Web publication will be subject to the following procedures:

  1. Upon initial identification of the pages that are inconsistent, an e-mail will be sent to the author outlining the problem and the recommended course of action to correct the problem.
  2. If the pages are not changed within two weeks, a second e-mail will be sent as a reminder and the author will be given two additional weeks to correct the problem.
  3. If the pages remain unchanged, the WebSupport team, Instructional Technology Specialist, or a Web intern will update the pages to bring them in line with current design specifications.
  4. If pages continue to be created contrary to specifications, the author's rights to publish will be withdrawn and he/she will no longer be allowed to publish directly to the web site until the situation can be remedied.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
