  • Public Institution
    100 percent of tuition and fees (including lab fees up to $300 per semester) and $600 cost of education allowance prorated by term and hours.
  • Private Institution
    100 percent of the average tuition and fees (fixed award amount) at a comparable Florida public institution and $600 cost of education allowance.
  • Public community college
    100 percent of tuition and fees.
  • Public four year Institution
    75 percent of tuition and fees (including lab fees up to $300 per semester).
  • Private Institution
    75 percent of the average tuition and fees (fixed award amount) at a comparable Florida public institution prorated by term and hours.
  • Public Institution
    75 percent of tuition and fees (including lab fees up to $300 per semester)
  • Private Institution
    75 percent of the average tuition and fees (fixed award amount) at a comparable Florida public institution prorated by term and hours.
 Grade Point Average (GPA)

  • 3.5 weighted GPA using the 15 credits listed Average (GPA) below.
  • 3.0 weighted GPA using the 15 credits listed below.
  • 3.0 weighted GPA using the core 15 credits listed below and a 3.5 unweighted GPA in a minimum of three vocational credits in one vocational program and test scores listed below.

Courses must include 15 credits of college preparatory academic courses.
  • Four English (three with substantial writing)
  • Three Mathematics (Algebra I and above)
  • Three Natural Science (two with substantial lab)
  • Three Social Science
  • Two Foreign Language (in the same language)

* May use up to 4 additional credits from courses in the academic areas listed above and/or AP or IB fine arts courses to raise the GPA.

Courses must include 15 credits of college preparatory academic courses.

*Beginning with 2003 graduates, an additional 1/2 credit of Physical Education will be required.

  • National Merit or Achievement Scholars and Finalists.
  • National Hispanic Scholars.
  • IB Diploma Recipient.
  • Students who have completed the IB Curriculum with 1270 SAT or 28 ACT.
  • Students who have attended a home education program according to §.232.02(4), F.S., during grades 11 and 12 with a 1270 SAT or 28 ACT.
  • Students who have completed the IB Curriculum with a 970 SAT or 20 ACT.
  • Students who have attended a home education program according to §.232.02(4), F.S., during grades 11 and 12 with a 1070 SAT or 23 ACT.
  • Students who have attended a home education program according to §.232.02(4), F.S., during grades 11 and 12 with a 1070 SAT or 23 ACT.
  • National Merit or Achievement Scholars and Finalists and National Hispanic Scholars who have not completed 75 hours of community service.
