Why did you choose SCC?
I chose SCC because it was like a home away from home. The small class sizes and smaller campus appealed to me.
How would you describe your educational experience at SCC?
The professors at SCC are great! You can really get to know them on a one-on-one level, which makes you feel more comfortable asking for help. The relationships I have developed with my professors really helped me gain more confidence in the classroom and encouraged me to speak up during discussions.
What are your post-SCC/career plans?
I am hoping to move on to a four-year school where I will play softball and continue my education.
How would you describe your "college" experience at SCC?
My time at SCC has been a great learning experience. I wouldn't change anything about it!
What are your activities and hobbies?
I play softball for the Raiders' Fastpitch Softball Team - between school and softball I don't have time for much else!
How has your experience at SCC impacted your life?
The time I have spent here at SCC has really shown me the value of an education and how many doors can open for your future just by having a good educational background.
Why would you recommend SCC to a potential student?
There are many great reasons to choose SCC. Three of the most important are: the free tutoring available to any student, the great professors and the positive campus attitude.
