| Do my credits transfer from my other college(s)? |
| If you are transferring from another college or university, you will need to submit your transcript to SCC's Records Office, 100 Weldon Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773 to be evaluated. You should also make an appointment to meet with an academic adviser. The number for counseling is 407.708.2337. You are asked to submit your transcripts at least two months prior to your advising appointment to provide adequate time for the SCC Records Office to evaluate them before you register for classes. |

| When can I register for summer? |
| New students may register after their advising appointment. Returning students can view their registration appointment by logging into the MySCC system. Open registration begins Monday, April 21, 2008. |

| Where can I get a parking permit? |
| You can obtain a parking permit at the cashiers window, located in the breezeway of the Student Services building on the Sanford Lake Mary Campus and at the Business Office on the Oviedo Campus. |
| How much does a parking permit cost? |

| What students must attend Orientation? |
| All degree-seeking college credit and vocational students. |
| When do I need to submit my transcripts? |
| Official Transcripts should be on file in the SCC Records Office at least two weeks before your advising appointment. New students should bring copies of their test scores to their advising appointment. If you are a transfer students, you should bring a copy of your college transcript to your advising appointment. You are also asked to submit your transcripts at least two months prior to your advising appointment to provide adequate time for the SCC Records Office to evaluate them before you register for classes. |

To be considered a Florida resident, you should supply two primary documents, or one primary document and two supporting documents from the following list: Primary Document - Florida Driver's License

If you are under the age of 24: - Two from the above list, plus a copy of your 1040 forms for proof of financial independence ++ Must have claimed themselves + need a copy of their parents 1040
- Dependents need one parent's signature (with the same last name) on the residency form plus copies of two documents from the above list.
If you have a different last name than the claimant: - Dependent students with different last names from the claimant must bring additional documentation to prove relationship. Acceptable documents are: Tax return showing the student was claimed by the claimant, birth certificates, and high school transcripts showing the claimant as guardian.
