High School Graduate Scholarships
These scholarships are for students who are about to graduate or have just recently graduated from a Central Florida public high school.
How to Apply
- To apply for any of these scholarships, complete an SCC Scholarship Application.
- Return the form and required documents to your high school guidance counselor or mail them to:

Be sure to attach your application essay and two letters of recommendation to your scholarship application. These are required for you to be considered for any scholarships. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Available High School Graduate Scholarships:
Brenda Carey Endowed Scholarship
- Requires a 3.0 GPA
- Must be a freshman and recent graduate of Seminole High School
Collins G. Herbert Memorial Scholarship
- Requires a 2.0 GPA
- Must be a graduate of Deltona High School seeking an A.A. or A.S. degree at SCC
- Must be registering to become a full-time student
CROP: College Reach-Out Program Scholarship
- Requires a 2.0 GPA
- Must be a graduating high school student who participated in the CROP Program at SCC
- Submit Application to: CROP Coordinator, Seminole Community College, 100 Weldon Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773
Robert J. Schmidt and E.S. Douglas Memorial Scholarship
- Requires a 2.0 GPA
- Must be a graduate of Seminole High School, Lyman High School or SCC's Adult High School/GED Program
- Must be registering to become a full-time student
