Rotary Club of Sanford Presents SCC Student Scholarships
Rotary Club of Sanford President, Greg Smith (pictured far left) recently presented a $2,000 check from the Club to SCC Foundation Scholarship & Proposal Coordinator Lisa Massing and Executive Director of SCC Foundation Matthew Hodge (pictured far right).
Smith, who is also the Chief Financial Officer of Federal Trust Bank, mentioned that this donation will add to the Club's scholarship endowment fund with the SCC Foundation which now totals more than $30,000 from prior Club donations.
The endowment fund will be used to support one or two local students attending the College each year, depending on financial need.
"We are grateful to the Club members for their generous support and fundraising efforts during the year which allows the Club to contribute to numerous worthwhile organizations in Sanford each year," said Smith.
