e-business: Degree vs. Certificate

When pursuing an education in a technology field, everyone has different goals. Some students are working towards a degree. Some would like to gain the skills and knowledge needed to begin working right away. Others are industry professionals looking to keep up-to-date with new technologies or broaden their industry experience.

SCC recognizes these different goals. Our e-Business program was designed with multiple degree and certificate options to meet your specific needs.

The e-Business Technology Degree Program

In the degree program, you will earn an A.S. degree in e-Business Technology. Some of the courses are transferable to a four-year college or university.  The e-Business Technology - Business Specialization A.S. degree focuses on the managing and marketing aspects of an e-Business enterprise.

The e-Business Technical Certificate Program

• Can be completed in two semesters during day classes
• Are designed to provide a background in a specific e-Business topic
• Give you immediate skills for entering the workforce
• Provide supplemental training for professionals currently or previously in the e-Business field.

The e-Business Technical Certificate program specialization focuses on managing and marketing an e-Business.
