Enterprise SystemsSCC has a Unisys ES7000 Orion Model 230 Enterprise Server. The server infrastructure consists of a DUAL power domain ES7000 with 16 1.60 GHZ processors and 36 GB of memory. The system is partitioned into two nodes, one running Windows 2000 Datacenter and the other running Windows 2003 Datacenter. The Windows 2000 partition has four 1.60 GHZ processors and six GB of memory. The Windows 2003 partition has 12 1.60 GHZ processors and 26 GB memory. Each system is connected via fiber channel to an EMC Symmetrix disk array with 700 GB of total disk storage. SCC Enterprise Systems also run on Dell PowerEdge servers. We use a variety of Dell PowerEdge server models like 6650, 6400, 6300, 4400, 2450, 2400, 1850, and 1750. We are running Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Windows 2003 Enterprise Server on all our Dell servers. All the Dell PowerEdge servers have Intel Xeon Processors, redundant power supplies, raid five disk arrays, and a minimum of 2GB of memory. We also use some external disk arrays like the Dell PowerVault 220 and the Dell/EMC Clarion for data storage. All SCC Enterprise Servers are connected gigabit to our network. The Unisys ES7000 and Dell PowerEdge Servers host our Peoplesoft Enterprise Applications. Our Peoplesoft Enterprise Applications include Financials, Student Administration, HR, Portal, and Development. The ES7000 runs all the Microsoft SQL databases and some Peoplesoft Application Servers. The Dell PowerEdge servers run the Weblogic Web Servers and most of the Peoplesoft Application Servers.
