What is the Auxiliary Law Enforcement Officer Certificate?

Auxiliary police officers are also known as volunteer police. They are typically appointed, work under the supervision and direction of other law enforcement personnel and generally do not receive salary or wages for their services.

SCC's Criminal Justice Academy offers a training program for auxiliary law enforcement officers, which focuses on dealing with emergency situations and performing law enforcement duties, as directed by sworn officers.
