SCC Career Professional Employees Council

The Career Professional Employee Council is an umbrella committee under the SCC Chapter of FACC (Florida Association of Community Colleges). It represents all career professional personnel of Seminole Community College and meets the needs of the individuals it serves, promotes and supports the College and its mission, FACC, and the community.

Objectives

• Encourage professional attitudes for the betterment of the individual, the college, and the community that is served.
• Serve as a forum for discussion of career professional personnel concerns.
• Lend support to the college by being thoroughly knowledgeable of the purpose of community college education and the mission of Seminole Community College.

Membership

Membership is free and open to all full or part time career personnel employed at Seminole Community College.

Current News

We would like to thank everyone who supported our FACC/CPEC Fall Extravaganza held on November 29, 2006. It was a great success! We raised $128.43 and we were able to donate $100 to the FACC Book Scholarship Fund and $100 to the Blue and Gold Circle because of existing funds in CPEC General account.

A special thank you to all who donated items for this event.

Also, we would like to give a special thank you to the following individuals who volunteered their time: Liz Lawson, Charity Clift, Julie Knott, Carol Mikolajek, Terri Louise Stanier, Sandra West, and Ray McDonald.
