An Excellent College Credit (3-Hours) Course

CGS1060C Basic Computer Concepts will prepare you to use a personal computer, access information using the Internet, send and receive email, manage computer files, utilize Microsoft Word 2007 and develop MLA reports. Classes are available during the day, in the evening, or online.

In addition, the student will receive:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Word 2007.
  • Basic concepts about computer equipment related to hardware, software, applications, etc.
  • Instructions on how to use Windows XP, how to configure your own computer system, and even purchase your own computer.
