U.S. Army ROTC

All Seminole Community College students are eligible through a cross-enrollment agreement to apply for the U.S. Army ROTC program at the University of Central Florida with Army Military Science Leadership (MSL) classes conducted at the UCF Main Campus. The first two years of Army ROTC basic courses consist of four two-semester hour courses and a two hour lab. The course requirements in order are: MSL 1001C, MSL 1002C, MSL 2101C, and MSL 2102C.

Scholarships are available for SCC students and will later transfer to UCF. Scholarships pay contracted student's full tutition or $10,000 per year for room and board, a $1,200 yearly book allowance, and a $350-500 monthly spending allowance. Students are required to complete the last two years of the Army ROTC program at UCF. Students who complete ROTC and graduate with a degree will be commissioned as officers in the U.S. Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard. U.S. Air Force ROTC

All Seminole Community College students are eligible through a cross-enrollment agreement to apply for the U.S. Air Force ROTC at the University of Central Florida. The Air Force ROTC program for community college students includes General Military courses: AFR 1101C, AFR 1111C, AFR 2130C, AFR 2131C. Each course is one-semester hour and can be taken while attending Seminole Community College.

Scholarships are available that pay contracted students at least partial, if not full, tuition and academic fees, a book allowance of $900 per year, and a $350-500 monthly stipend. Air Force ROTC allows students to earn an Air Force commission while completing their studies.
