Scott B. L'Heureux, Faculty

Scott L'Heureux, President and Chief Operating Officer, EnableSoft. Mr. L'Heureux is currently responsible for managing the operational and strategic business development activities for EnableSoft, a leading provider of business efficiency software.

Prior to joining EnableSoft, he was responsible for directing and executing all leadership and operational aspects as CEO of Surgical Information Systems (SIS), a privately owned software and services company with the mission of improving the quality, organization, delivery and outcomes of surgical patient care through healthcare technology. He served on the SIS Board of Directors, the SIS India Board of Directors and chaired the company's Executive Advisory Board.

He has been a recognized leader in shaping healthcare business and technology for over 15 years, and has held a variety of management roles with McKesson, IBAX Healthcare (a subsidiary of IBM and Baxter) and Pharmacia Upjohn (now Pfizer) Pharmaceuticals. His leadership success in the healthcare industry can be attributed to his dedication to creating products and services that directly impact the quality of patient care and his ability to recognize and nurture talent across an organization to drive outstanding results. He has served as a consultant on numerous external boards and advisory committees, is a current or past member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society, Healthcare Financial Management Assn., AORN Foundation and many other professional organizations. He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Finance and Management respectively.

A native Central Floridian, L'Heureux lives in Winter Springs with his wife and two children. His past community service includes numerous charitable and fund raising activities with such organizations as Habitat for Humanity, the American Stroke Association, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Rotary, the Catholic Diocese of Central Florida, the Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida and various other organizations. He coaches youth sports teams and serves as a Dividend in Seminole County, is a competitive runner and tri-athlete and enjoys traveling with his family.
