TACT: Technicians Automotive Career Training
The curriculum is designed in cooperation with local industry (factory dealerships and independent shops) and in accordance with ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) and NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) standards. Along with classroom work, students will participate in a cooperative work program that allows for hands-on training. TACT Features
To participate in SCC's TACT program, you must be academically qualified and you must have a dealership or independent garage employer. It is this cooperative effort between the college and industry that will provide you with the needed on campus training and "real work experiences."
