Raiders Softball Coach - Bill Fields

Pitching Coach Bill Fields begins his ninth season with the Raiders, bringing superior knowledge of the mechanics of the game, patience for developing players and a commendable work ethic to the Seminole Community College Softball Program.

Fields' coaching experience includes Women's Softball and Volleyball at the high school level in Miami, Fla. As an assistant head softball coach at Miami Sunset from 1986-95, Fields' duties included working with the pitchers, hitters and outfielders. During that time, Sunset won four District Championships and was the Class 5A State Runner-up. Fields served as the JV head coach and varsity assistant coach for the highly successful Sunset Volleyball team from 1989-97. During his tenure, he won two State Championship titles and earned four Final Four appearances. He has also served as vice president of the South Florida Volleyball Club and has experience coaching 14 and under teams. Fields currently resides in Deltona and has been employed with BellSouth for 27 years as a facility technician.
