Dr. Matthew Herba, D.C.

Dr. Matthew Herba is a principled Chiropractor with Herba Family Chiropractic Center in Winter Springs. Dr. Herba's mission in serving the Winter Springs area is simple: to increase spinal health awareness, to provide adjustments to the greatest number of families permissible and to maintain that care to the highest degree.

Dr. Herba began his academic career at the University of Central Florida, earning his bachelor's degree in molecular and microbiology. Parallel with his degree, Dr. Herba was involved with nutritional research in the areas of essential fatty acids administration and the effects of sugar restriction on inflammation. He reached a second milestone with his graduation from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, earning his professional doctorate in chiropractic. Most recently, Dr. Herba completed an intensive internship with one of the world's highest volume Chiropractors, Dr. Anthony Nalda.

Dr. Herba's involvement with sports and nutrition is extensive; he is currently involved with many aspects of community care including serving as the team chiropractor for Seminole Community College athletics, health presentations to community groups, and a regular speaker on the WTLN 950 AM "Body By God" radio show. As of July 1, 2006, Herba Family Chiropractic has been accepted as a Research and Clincial Science Research Site where Dr. Herba joins a world-wide health and wellness outcomes project to study the impact of chiropractic care on various aspects of health.
