Productions Opportunities

The greatest advantage of SCC's Theatre Program is the opportunity for immediate student involvement both onstage and backstage. From set construction to sound design, we stress active participation from our tech students and those interested in performance.

The growing design/technical area of our program allows students to experience behind-the-scenes responsibilities and equipment, including a new Colortran Innovator lighting control system and a Mackie 16- channel effects mixer with state-of-the-art powered speakers.

During the 2008-2009 season, you will have the opportunity to participate in:

• Five major student productions;
• One dance concert;
• And a guest artist production.

All SCC students are eligible to audition for the five student productions.

Did you know?

Students in SCC's Fine Arts Theatre program have an opportunity to participate in three major student productions, one lab production, and select OTP productions each year.
