With the exception of December, Seminole State's Fine Arts Gallery will premiere different artists each month through May, offering an array of mediums, including painting, pottery and multimedia installations.

The annual Fine Arts faculty exhibit in November and December, and the Juried Student Art Exhibit in April will give the community an opportunity to discover new talent.

Seminole State's Fine Arts Gallery (building G on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus) is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and also during music and theatre performances. For more information, please call 407.708.2040. All gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.

Theatre

Seminole State's Fine Arts Theatre has scheduled a diverse season, ranging from Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses — much of which takes place in water — to the musical Assassins, the farce Comic Potential, and August Wilson's Jitney.

Seminole State will ring in the holidays with Southern Winds Theatre's production of A Tuna Christmas, the sequel to the hit comedy Greater Tuna. Twenty-six characters are played by two actors in this fun-filled show.

Ticket information: Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling 407.708.2040 or visiting the Fine Arts Theatre Box Office (building G) on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. The Box Office is open Mondays from 9 a.m.-noon, and Tuesdays through Fridays from noon-4 p.m.
