Practice English Tutorials & Tests (PETT) Projects

Practice English Tutorials & Tests (PETT) Projects have been developed by the English Language Studies Department at Seminole Community College to help ESOL students become more comfortable with the listening and reading skills used in functional English assessments.

• PETT Project: ESOL Listening Practice Tests
  
  Students can apply their listening skills via two online multiple-choice listening tests at each of the following ESOL levels Foundations/Low Beginning/High Beginning, Low Intermediate, and High Intermediate levels.
• PETT Project: ESOL Reading Tutorials and Practice Tests
  
  Engaging reading skills tutorials help students review the use of inferences, scanning, context clues, and time management.  These skills are then practiced with online reading tests that address life skills topics.
