Dr. Matthew M. Hodge Vice President, Institutional Advancement Dr. Matt Hodge has more than 15 years of experience in working with the University of Central Florida Foundation, Florida Hospital Foundation as a consultant and the University of Florida Foundation. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, a master's degree in public administration from the University of Central Florida and a Ph.D. in Public Affairs at UCF.
As vice president of institutional advancement, Dr. Hodge oversees the development and stewardship of external resources on behalf of the College. These resources include private contributions from donors, state and federal grant awards, private investments and real estate managed through the Foundation, and annual State of Florida allocations.
Dr. Hodge is responsible for coordinating and supervising the SCC Foundation, Inc. and its Board of Directors, as well as the public grants identified, awarded and administered through the College. Hodge was executive director of the SCC Foundation from 2005-2008.
Dr. Hodge remains active in the academic community, serving on the Nonprofit Advisory Board at UCF and teaching graduate and undergraduate strategic planning as an adjunct professor at UCF.
Additionally, having co-authored a recent article on board member involvement, Dr. Hodge was recognized by the Journal Nonprofit Management and Leadership for the best scholarly paper in 2007.
